There are a wealth of exquisite, privately owned Cape Hotels and Guest Houses in South Africa. Many of these establishments provide a much more personal and individual experience to travellers. There is also a vast selection of different styles and tariff rates to choose from. Great accommodation plus the addition of thoughful personal touches, friendly advice, and those caring extra miles that can only come from involved owners and dedicated staff, make your stay in one of them, particularly rewarding.

Glenda Paterson of Cape Hotels Glenda Paterson, director of In Touch With Tourism, and recently elected vice president of Cape Winelands Skal, became aware of these fine establishments during her 27 years in the Hospitality industry, working with the giants of accommodation excellence, Holiday Inns and Sun International.

She decided to put her great training and experience to work by investigating the potential of this splendid accommodation market to fulfill the very real desire, in both travellers and locals alike, for a more individual experience in accommodation, hospitable service, and stays to remember.

To this end, Glenda has travelled extensively through the Cape putting together the Cape Hotels portfolio of some of the finest establishments around. Not only do these establishments pass the value-for-money test, with its inherent stringent criteria, but all are situated in localities which offer a great deal in the way of 'things to do' and sight-seeing attractions.

Arrays of fine restaurants to choose from, great South African wines, exciting sporting activities, magnificent scenery and loads of interesting things to see and do. And then there are the tours...

Visit the tours page and see what great packages are on offer. Alternatively we can tailor a tour expecially for you.
