Monkeyland is a unique eco-adventure, tourist driven, free-roaming, multi-specie, primate sanctuary. We offer an open invitation to visit us for an educational tour / guided monkey safari at Monkeyland.The primates are not caged,but are free to move about the forest in harmony. The primates are therefore not found on predetermined points displayed on a map, the emphasis is to search for them, and the reward is to see them as they should be: free and in the wild.

The Elephant Sanctuary provides a safe-haven for our elephants and offers a platform for guest education and interaction.

They offer guest and elephant driven programs where the most important part of our operation is happy elephants and satisfied guests. Their programs offer one of a kind elephant interaction and are unique to the Elephant Sanctuary.

All the elephants are rescued African elephants whose trust has been gained through their unique reward-based training.  Believing in forming bonds between humans and elephants, all the elephants are exercised and stimulated daily which provides a firm foundation for trust. There are two operations: one in the Crags, near Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route and one at the Hartbeespoort Dam, only an hour's drive from Pretoria.

A herd of elephants ambles past in single file; the claves, some holding onto their mothers’ tails with their trunks, shielded by the protective adults. Reaching the waterhole, a bull elephant indulges in a mud bath. The matriarch, flapping her ears to cool off, watches the antics while munching on a spekboom. Close by a dung beetle busily gets to work.
